What Is Redscale Film?

Redscale describes the effect you get when shooting through the back of a color film. By doing this you are exposing your image through the films base and the red sensitive layer first while also significantly reducing the impact of the blue sensitive layer. When accurately exposed, this typically removes the blue from the image whilst creating almost monochromatic results primarily consisting of reds, oranges and yellows.
