The 23.5″ C-Series Para Dome Softbox from HIVE is a 16-sided modifier with a deep parabolic design to offer sharp falloff that translates to directional control, which can be amplified with the included honeycomb grid. The Para Dome is a softbox that tames the light quality of the bright LEDs while reducing contrast. A bonus is the natural-looking catchlights that are reflected in your subject’s eyes. The Para Dome has removable front and interior diffusers that can be used together or one at a time for contrast options. You could also conceivably use it as a large reflector by using neither. The Para Dome is compatible with all HIVE CX and C-Series Omni-Color LED fixtures but it can also be used with Profoto heads with the same front diameter.
